The Future of ObamaCare if Romney is Elected

One of the things that Mitt Romney says on his stump speeches is that he is “going to repeal ObamaCare,” the somewhat derisive euphemism for the Affordable Care Act (ACA) passed under President Barack Obama. The question is, can he repeal it if he is elected?

The answer, according to David Fried of Software Advice, is no. And in this article he explains why not – and what 5 things you as a physician should do to prepare for it:

  1. Prepare for more patients
  2. Make decisions regarding Medicare and Medicaid
  3. Embrace or reject electronic health records
  4. Consider going rural
  5. Evaluate bundled payments and ACOs
